Intro
For this project we were given "fossils" and we had to write a story to explain their existence and create a cladogram for them.

Concepts Used
Taxonomy- a branch of science which separates different organisms
Cladogram - a branching diagram that shows relationships of organisms.
Evolution - The process of species developing to a new better form
adaptation- A trait that changes to better suit an organism for their environment
sympatric speciation-Species getting new traits but coming from the same species in the same region (example: different colored beetles)
allopatric speciation-species becoming different families due to separation of some sort
Latin Naming: A unique and descriptive name given to each organism to help tell it apart from others
Organism Classification : Unique to each organism and contains
Domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family

Reflection
Peaks:
I wrote our story of evolution.
I created our power point.
Pits:
I often got off task
I should have tried to help my group-mates stay on task more.
Things learned:
What a cladogram is and how to make it.
