Our Idea
We begun this project by figuring out problems we come across or know that exist in our existence. We came up with stuff ranging from "my alarm didn't go off" to "global warming". Then, We found people, with similar ideas to ours to work in a group with. My group ended up working on the problem of humans destroying nature. Our main focus was deforestation to begin. We found that the cause of most deforestation is from subsistence farming. This is basically farming to provide for your own family. It was hard to figure a non social solution to this problem. In the end we decided to make a portable rooftop garden box. We tried to make a lighter weight version of a planter box.
Concepts Used
Engineering design cycle- We used this in figuring out what to do and how to do it. It goes:
1. Identify need
2. Research problem
3. Develop possible solutions
4. Select promising solutions
5. Construct a prototype
6. Test and evaluate prototype
7. Communicate design
8. Redesign
9. Repeat

Reflection
I really enjoyed this project. I got to work with my friends and focus on something I had more of an opinion on. However, because of working with my friends I wasn't as on task. We would try to be more productive by splitting the work, but would end up working on the same, often off task, thing. My two peaks for this group was I was good at keeping our group on task. Also, I was good at making sure we got our box built. My two pits for this were not keeping on what I had originally started doing, and instead switching to someone else. Also, I would often start taking with people in other groups instead of staying in my group.
